There are currently 15 Members serving on the BTPA, including a chair and a deputy chair, appointed by the Transport Secretary. Members are required to have knowledge of a range of views from the rail industry and rail passengers. Vacancies are publicly advertised by the Department for Transport and filled when required. The quorum of the Full Authority meetings is half plus one of the Membership.
Authority meetings are open to members of the public. Anyone wishing to attend should contact us.
