Abdul is a solicitor working in the public sector specialising in contracts, public sector procurement law and data protection law. He has extensive experience as a Non-Executive Director (NED) where he sat on the Boards of a further education college and the NHS in Scotland. He currently serves as a NED with the British Dietetic Association, which is the is the professional association and trade union for UK dietitians.
Abdul also has a number of additional roles adjudicating complaints and appeals for a variety of different organisations. He also tutors the next generation of Scottish Solicitors at University of Aberdeen.
Abdul studied at Aberdeen Grammar School before going on to graduate with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB – Hons) and PgDip in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen.
