Customer Service Standards

The British Transport Police Authority is committed to providing an excellent customer service. The Authority will manage all customer contact in a way which is:-

  • Fair
  • Timely
  • Accurate, and
  • Accessible

This policy describes the minimum service standards which the Authority will apply when handling customer contact. It also seeks to promote consistency and proportionality to the delivery of services, to ensure that the Authority’s resources are spent adequately and in adherence to its duties and responsibilities.
