Mike Gallop is the Western Route Director for Network Rail and has worked in the railway industry for more than 16 years.
Prior to working in rail, Mike worked for 15 years in the construction industry delivering a range of projects for the energy, water and transport sectors before running one of the non-regulated businesses of Severn Trent Water.
Married, with two grown-up children, Mike lives in the Wye Valley which allows him ample opportunity to pursue his interests in running and walking.
