Bill Matthews spent 20 years in a number of roles in the electronics industry before developing a portfolio of non-executive positions in both public and private sector. He was a Chair of Audit at the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, and a founder member of the Scottish Police Services Authority prior to joining the BTPA in November 2012. Previously the BBC Trustee for Scotland, Bill now chairs the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission.
