Emma Strain

Emma is the Customer Director at Transport for London (TfL), responsible for TfL’s customer strategy, insights, marketing and customer experience. She also holds responsibility for Equity in Motion, TfL’s plan to improve the accessibility and inclusivity of the London transport network. Additionally, Emma oversees TfL’s revenue-generating activities including commercial advertising and partnerships.

Previously, Emma held a number of leadership roles at the Greater London Authority and served as the Authority’s Monitoring Officer. She has a background in programme delivery and management consultancy across multiple sectors.

Emma is also a Non-Executive Director at the London Transport Museum on their Enterprise Board and a Trustee at Hockerill Anglo European College.
