established
North West
Area has established a new group to monitor and approve staff
movements. The
Resourcing Review Group will sit once each month following the Senior
Management Team meeting and will consider the
following:
HR Business
Partner Emma Briscoe, who will sit on the panel along with Supt Peter
Mason, Finance Manager Stuart Holmes and HR assistant Ruth Unsworth, said:
“We have implemented the group to ensure any resourcing decisions are
addressed in an objective manner, taking into account the wider context of
the area. “We are
committed to ensuring all requests are dealt with in a fair and equitable
manner and would be happy to explain the process in detail to anyone who
has concerns.” Any
proposed staffing changes should be submitted to the group for
consideration by sending the full proposal on email to Ruth Unsworth. Only
formal proposals will be considered and no arrangement will be approved
unless it has gone before the review group. Congratulations to OSPRE
success stories
Congratulations
are due to eight police constables who have recently passed the Sergeants’
Part One OSPRE examination. The
successful candidates were Alexander Amos, Andrew Collier, Richard
Herbert, Gary Matthews, Stuart Maw, Thomas Nicholls, Paul Southwell and

Superintendent Peter Holden said: “The pass rate for the north west was
more than 56 per cent, almost 20 per cent higher than the force
average. “Each
candidate is to be congratulated and as an area we are justifiably proud
of the success.” Romanian ATM gang
