Against Police Officers

The Police Authority has a statutory duty to consider complaints against senior officers. These officers are:

  • the Chief Constable;
  • the Deputy Chief Constable;
  • and the Assistant Chief Constables.

If you wish to make a complaint about any of the above, please contact Lucy Barrick, Business Manager, by e-mail or post.

Complaints against other BTP officers or staff

The Authority does not generally become involved in these complaints. If you wish to make a complaint about a BTP officer or member of staff, please refer to the Complaints section on the BTP force website.
